In the beginning...

At The Well:

On May 23, 1976, in a little church, with music bellowing out the windows, I came to know the Lord as my personal Savior and Friend.  I can't remember when, if ever, I did not know about him, but on that day, this woman met Him at the well.

Who was this woman?
This woman was the woman who met Jesus at the well.  The past was a journey of uncertainty and insecurity.  A woman who desired to be loved by a husband, but found abuse and unfaithfulness.  This woman worked daily to have a home and provide for her children.  It was during those days, she learned about The Master.  She learned that there was a Savior that was to come.  One day, she met Him at the well and her life was never the same again.

Who is she now?
I am this woman, like so many women.  Now, no matter where  I am, I am home.  No matter who I am, I am loved.  No matter where I travel, I belong.  Some would blame a disfunctional childhood, some would blaime it on our society, but the truth is that I did not personally know Jesus.  I knew about him, but I did not know Him and that has mades all the difference.  Yes, since knowing Him, there were more last names added to my last name list.  After knowing Jesus Christ, we are never the same.  Discovering that you are a new creature in Christ takes time.  Of all the last names that have changed, there is only one name, one man that has never left me, nor forsaken me, but one who loved me and who died for me.  He is the one I call Savior.   He is the only one who could save me, that day, at the well.   My Lord, Jesus Christ , my Savior.

Consider:
Do you considered yourself a woman with too many broken relationship?
Do you find yourself looking for an other, to replace the one that has gone bad?
Do you defend your right to happiness, by leaving a relationship, or do you wait to long to leave one that is abusive?
I am not Dr. Phil, but " How is that working for you?"
I am not a councelor,  but I know a Man that knew all things about me and loved me just the same.  He is my Savior, Lord. and friend,  Jesus Christ.    I would like to introduce you to this friend of mine.  God is willing and able to  help you in all areas of your life, including relationships and marriage.   Do you know about the man, who knows all about you, and will meet you at the well?  Your life will never be the same.  It will be better.
